Do I need my own Mailchimp or email marketing account?

No. ClickAndSend is a fully managed newsletter service, so you do not need to subscribe to or manage Mailchimp or any other email marketing platform yourself. We handle the sending infrastructure for you. If you already have a subscriber list on another platform, we can migrate it as part of your onboarding.

How quickly can we get started?

Most clients can be up and running within a few days. If you already have a subscriber list and content ready, we can often have your first newsletter prepared and sent within a week.

What do I need to provide each month?

Simply send us your content. This can be bullet points, a rough draft, links to blog posts, product information or images. We will turn your content into a professionally designed newsletter using your template and send it to you for approval before distribution.

Will you write the newsletter content for us?

Not necessarily. Most clients simply send us notes, ideas, product information, links or bullet points. We will organise and format the content into a professional newsletter. Full copywriting services may also be available if required.

Can you design our newsletter?

Yes. We create professional newsletter templates based on your branding, website, logo and social media presence. Our focus is on practical, effective email marketing rather than complex graphic design projects, allowing us to get you up and running quickly with minimal fuss.

Can we email our customers?

Yes, provided your customers have given permission to receive marketing communications from you. If you are unsure whether your mailing list is compliant with GDPR and email marketing regulations, we can advise you.

How often should we send a newsletter?

For most businesses, one newsletter per month is a good starting point. Businesses with regular offers, events, promotions or new content may benefit from sending more frequently. We can help you decide on a suitable schedule for your audience.

How many subscribers can I have?

Our packages include a generous allowance of up to 7,500 email addresses across your entire mailing list, including active subscribers, unsubscribed contacts and archived records.

For most small and medium-sized businesses this provides plenty of room for growth. If your list exceeds this limit, we can provide a bespoke package tailored to your requirements.

Am I locked into a long-term contract?

No. ClickAndSend operates on a flexible monthly subscription basis with no long-term contracts.

You are free to upgrade, downgrade or cancel your package if your requirements change. As our services are billed monthly, cancellation provides us with approximately 30 days’ notice and your service will continue until the end of your current billing period.

If I stop using ClickAndSend, what happens to my mailing list?

Your mailing list belongs to you. If you decide to leave, we can export your subscriber data and provide it to you in a standard format. We do not lock clients into our platform and your data can be transferred elsewhere if required. Any data retained by ClickAndSend will be removed after an appropriate retention period, subject to any legal, accounting or compliance obligations.

What reporting do we receive?

Depending on your package, we can provide campaign statistics including open rates, click rates, unsubscribes and other engagement metrics so that you can see how your newsletters are performing.

Can you help us import an existing mailing list?

Yes. We can assist with importing subscriber lists from spreadsheets and other email marketing platforms as part of the onboarding process.

Can we add a newsletter sign-up form to our website?

Absolutely. We can provide the code and instructions needed to add a sign-up form to your website, or we can set it up for you (talk to us during onboarding for a compatibility quote). This allows visitors to subscribe directly to your mailing list.

How can we build our mailing list?

There are many ways to grow your subscriber list, including:

  • Adding a sign-up form to your website
  • Running competitions or prize draws
  • Collecting subscribers in-store
  • Promoting your newsletter on social media
  • Inviting existing customers to subscribe

Whatever method you use, subscribers should clearly understand that they are joining your mailing list and can unsubscribe at any time. We are happy to discuss list-building strategies with you.

Where is my data stored and is it GDPR compliant?

Security and privacy are extremely important to us. Subscriber databases and campaign assets are hosted on secure infrastructure within the UK and EU, helping ensure compliance with GDPR and applicable data protection regulations.

What happens when someone unsubscribes?

Unsubscribe requests are processed automatically. Once a subscriber opts out, they will no longer receive future marketing emails unless they choose to subscribe again.

Can I send one-off newsletters in addition to my package?

Yes. Additional campaigns can be arranged outside your regular package. Contact us to discuss your requirements and we will provide a quotation.

Can you build a newsletter from an existing design?

Yes. If you already have a newsletter design, simply send us the artwork. Layered Photoshop files are ideal, but we can work from most common formats.

We will convert the design into a responsive email template and advise on any changes needed to improve compatibility across email clients and mobile devices. Complex or unusually large templates may incur an additional charge.

Do I need an unsubscribe link?

Yes. Every marketing email must include an unsubscribe option. This is included as standard in all ClickAndSend newsletters.

Can we host the images used in our newsletters?

Yes. If you prefer to host newsletter images on your own website or server, we can usually accommodate this. Where significant additional work is involved, an additional fee may apply.

Where are the images in my newsletter hosted?

By default, ClickAndSend hosts newsletter images for up to one year from the date of sending. After this period, images may be archived and may no longer appear in newsletters older than one year.

Do you offer a white-label service for agencies?

Yes. Our white-label agency service allows web designers, marketing consultants and agencies to offer professional email marketing services under their own brand while we handle the technical setup, design and delivery behind the scenes.

Can the ClickAndSend logo be removed from my newsletter?

Direct Customers:
Yes. We can remove the ClickAndSend logo and link from your newsletter template. A one-off branding removal fee of €150 applies.

Agency Customers:
Our white-label agency service allows your own logo and website link to be used instead of ClickAndSend branding as part of the onboarding process.
